Perayaan Natal Bersama 2007

Gereja Journey of Faith Fellowship (JoFF) cabang Honolu mengundang warga Indonesia di Hawaii untuk mengikuti JoFF Christmas Celebration yang akan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 22 Desember 2007 di Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki, 175 Paoakalani Ave (Ali’I Room, 2nd floor), Honolulu, Hawaii, 96815.

Selain itu, Gereja Journey of Faith Fellowship (JoFF) cabang Honolulu juga mengundang Bapak/Ibu/Sdr/i Kristiani untuk beribadah bersama setiap hari Minggu, jam 9.30 pagi di Aston Waikiki Sunset Hotel, 229 Paoakalani Ave, 6 th floor, Honolulu-Hawaii 96815.

Concert on the Lawn dan Kunjungan Dubes RI

Tanggal 6 Oktober pukul 5.30pm tim Poco-poco Indonesia akan turut memeriahkan Concert on The Lawn di East West Center.

Tanggal 7 Oktober pertemuan antara Dutabesar Republik Indonesia Sudjanan Parnohadiningrat dengan masyarakat Indonesia di Hawaii. Pertemuan berlangsung di Tokai University, Kapiolani Boulevard, Honolulu, pukul 5.30pm.

We Won the First Place!

Indonesia's nasi kuning and sate ayam won the first place in the "2007 International Potluck: A Taste of East West". The judges declared that the food is the best among other foods from 17 country participants.

Taste of the World

Permias Hawaii will participate in the "2007 International Potluck: A Taste of East West", featuring food from East West Center participants around the world. It will be held on September 8, 2007, at the East West Center Circle of Friends.

Perayaan HUT ke-62 Republik Indonesia

Perayaan HUT kemerdekaan ke-62 Republik Indonesia akan digelar pada Sabtu, 25 Agustus 2007 di Kapi’olani Park (dekat lapangan tenis). Acara dimulai pukul 11.00 pagi.

Saman dance will perform in nursing home

Based on a request to East West Center, Saman dance will perform at Maluhia Nursing Home in Kalihi (a nursing home for 150+ residents/patients) on March 24, 2007. Talk about Maluku's conflict by Ian Parker

Please attend this conference talk, Thursday, March 14 2006. Panel starts at 8:30am and Ian's paper should begin around 8:50am. The panel is discussing Conceptions and Issues of Security in Southeast Asia. Ian's paper is dealing with religious/ethnic conflict in Maluku, and Cheng-Chwee's paper is focusing on ASEAN relations with a growing China. Venue: Korean Studies.
